We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller for a role in the public sector, focusing on financial auditing, follow-up, and control of grant-funded activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting financial checks and audits related to state grants, with the aim of ensuring correct handling and compliance with current regulations. The work includes analyzing, documenting, and reporting audit results, as well as maintaining ongoing dialogue with relevant operations.

The assignment may also involve site visits to various organizations. The role requires a good understanding of financial management, accounting, and public sector operations. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, analytical, and accustomed to independently driving qualified audit work.

Qualifications

You are an economist with experience in auditing or financial inspection within the public sector, primarily from municipal operations. Experience with state grants and EU funds is an advantage. You are self-motivated, experienced, and have a relevant background for the focus of this assignment.
