One of our employees will be on parental leave during the next school year, and we are therefore seeking a temporary youth leader for this period.

Sandhult-Bredared Parish has a extensive children's and youth ministry, serving children from the age of 3 up to young adults in their 20s. We run a large confirmation program, confirming 100 young people this year.

You will primarily work with confirmands and young people, so you need to enjoy spending time with youth and discussing both big and small topics.

You will lead confirmation groups, youth groups, and occasionally children's groups, in collaboration with other pedagogical staff and sometimes with priests or deacons. You will plan, prepare, and implement activities together.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with children and young people.
• Is a member of the Church of Sweden and wishes to convey Christian faith and values to others.
• Is secure, relationship-building, and serves as a good role model.
• Has strong collaboration skills but can also work independently.

Experience working with confirmands or in other activities within the Church of Sweden, as well as pedagogical knowledge, is advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

This is a fixed-term general appointment with a start date in August 2026.
