About the role
As an Accountant with us, you take independent, overall responsibility for accounting, reporting, and financial administration for parts of Caybon's Nordic operations. You ensure high quality in financial statements and regulatory compliance, acting as a central contact point for the business, auditors, and external partners.
You belong to the parent company Caybon but work operationally primarily with Splay One Norway and Appelberg Publishing Group AB. Your workplace is at the headquarters in Stockholm, and you work in close collaboration with the Business Controller / Head of Finance, to whom you also report.

Responsibilities
- Day-to-day finance: Responsible for daily accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, expense reports, as well as bank and cash flow reconciliations.
- Financial statements & tax returns: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, annual reports, tax and income declarations, as well as VAT returns.
- Projects & control: Handle project accounting and project reconciliations.
- Audit: Own the audit process and act as the primary contact person for auditors and authorities.
- Payroll administration: Provide data to the external payroll agency and handle pensions, insurance, and holiday liabilities.
- Systems & processes: Be the system owner/contact person for finance and project systems, and drive digitalization and efficiency improvements.
- Contract management: Overall administration and structure regarding employment, customer, and supplier contracts.
We are looking for someone who has
- An academic degree in economics or equivalent education.
- A few years of experience in qualified accounting work, with experience in independent work with monthly and annual financial statements, financial reporting, and audit processes.
- Good knowledge of Swedish accounting and tax regulations.
- Experience with project accounting and ongoing financial administration.
- Very good skills in Excel and experience working with various financial systems.
- Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience with Norwegian accounting, Norwegian tax rules, and/or work with Norwegian companies.
- Experience with systems such as Marathon, Tripletex, or similar finance/project systems.
