We are currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer for a long-term assignment with a leading player in the process industry. The role involves overall responsibility for coordination between design and production, with a focus on technical quality, feasibility, and efficient project delivery. You will work closely with multiple disciplines and serve as a key link between design, execution, and quality assurance.

We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer for a long-term assignment with an established player in the process industry. The assignment is located at a large industrial facility in the Stockholm region and offers a central role in a technically complex operation where several investment, maintenance, and improvement projects are running in parallel.

As a Field Engineer, you act as the link between design and production. You ensure that technical solutions and design documentation are implemented correctly and efficiently in the field, contributing to a smooth transition between the design phase and execution. The role involves close collaboration with designers, project managers, QA/QC functions, and contractors to ensure that work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

You will work in an existing process plant where technical understanding, coordination skills, and on-site presence are crucial for success. The position is primarily site-based and requires daily on-site attendance.

• Act as the technical contact point between the design organization and production
• Review and coordinate technical drawings, design documentation, and specifications
• Ensure that technical solutions are feasible from a construction and production perspective
• Identify and handle technical issues, interfaces, and discrepancies between different disciplines
• Coordinate work within disciplines such as piping, mechanical, structural, civil, and steel construction
• Support and monitor QA/QC work according to project requirements and applicable standards
• Participate in construction and coordination meetings, providing technical support for decision-making and problem-solving
• Monitor field activities and ensure work is performed according to drawings and specifications
• Ensure correct documentation and reporting throughout the project execution

• At least 7 years of experience from industrial project environments
• Experience working on large investment, maintenance, or plant projects
• Good knowledge of several technical disciplines such as piping, mechanical, structural, civil, or steel construction
• Experience in coordinating between design and production
• Good understanding of QA/QC processes and quality requirements within the industry
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, models, and specifications
• Experience working in existing industrial or process plants
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by Friday. The assignment starts immediately and runs until the turn of the year 2027, with a possibility of extension.
