About the job
You will work with requirements management and system development within your agile team, collaborating closely with the business operations. You and your colleagues help each other in a flat hierarchy, focus on the big picture, and deliver finished solutions that simplify life for private individuals. We have a long-term mission and invest in sustainable, future-proof solutions with minimized technical debt. Societal benefit is always in focus.
We are currently in the midst of developing new IT support systems to phase out outdated IT systems. We are introducing modern technology and developing our architecture while supporting the business in their transition.
Here, you will have the opportunity for continuous development and learning at work. We actively work on competence and technology development through initiatives such as innovation sprints. You will have knowledgeable colleagues with whom you can exchange experiences, and you can develop both breadth and depth in your skills. It is important to us that you maintain a balance between work and leisure, and we offer flexible working hours and the possibility to work partially from home. You receive one wellness hour per week and a wellness allowance.
You will be part of the IT Department, located in Östersund, where we have approximately 130 colleagues.

About you
To do a good job and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be receptive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In your work, good judgment and an understanding of legal certainty and security are important. You must also adhere to our employee policy.
In this role, you should:
- have good collaboration skills, be helpful, and have a positive attitude towards others
- have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible, and open to change
- have strong problem-solving skills, see patterns, and be able to make boundaries and prioritizations
- be goal-oriented and contribute to achieving the purpose of the business
- act consciously and professionally based on good self-awareness
- express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
You must also have:
- a relevant university degree in IT, or several years of relevant work experience in the field that the employer deems equivalent
- several years of current and relevant work experience driving requirements work, including the structured collection, analysis, and documentation of requirements
- several years of current work experience with agile work in teams within a large, complex organization
- current work experience in structuring and formulating high-level and low-level requirements for IT development
It is desirable that you have work experience as a Scrum Master.
Good to know
The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.
A position with us may involve security clearance. A security check with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment is made. For some of our security-classified tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
