About the IT Support Unit

The IT Support Unit is part of the Digitalization and Communication sector under the Municipal Executive Office. We currently have 16 employees within IT Support and 75 employees in total.

The sector's mission is to be innovative and driving, creating digital and communicative solutions that strengthen operations and simplify everyday life for both employees and citizens.

The tasks within the IT Support Unit cover both IT and telephony, with a total of approximately 10,000 users in administration, school activities, and within the federation. We purchase and manage all IT and telephony equipment related to the computer workstation, conference equipment, and printing solutions, among other things. Participating in various projects and collaborations is a natural part of our work.

Common tasks

  • System administration
  • Permission management via IAM systems
  • Orders of hardware, licenses, and accessories
  • Telephony administration and switchboard management
  • User support

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are an administrator with experience in system administration, permission management, and purchasing. You have good computer skills and experience working in case management systems and in the Microsoft 365 environment.

You can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.

You have relevant documented education or equivalent experience assessed by the employer as equivalent for the position.

Great importance will be attached to the balance between skills, professional experience, and personality.

Qualifications that are meritorious for the position include knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory as well as knowledge of telephony, where switchboard management and administration of mobile subscriptions and routing systems are included.
