The Education Administration is responsible for all operations within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, after-school centers (fritidshem), upper secondary schools, and adult education.

Norrbackaskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school in Märsta, located near forests and meadows. We have two classes per grade from preschool class to grade 6, as well as a preparatory class with students of various ages.
Our work is based on creating equal and accessible education where all students have the opportunity to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. The learning environments are designed with a focus on safety, participation, and study peace.

We are currently in a development process with a special focus on the quality of teaching. We are looking for employees who want to be an active part of this work and who, together with us, want to contribute to creating a sustainable learning environment where every student can succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an after-school center teacher with us, you work in close collaboration with the school's other staff to create a holistic experience in the students' school day. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in the after-school center based on the curriculum. You help drive the development of the operations forward and contribute to a creative and inclusive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

  • Are a qualified teacher in after-school centers or have equivalent pedagogical education
  • Are flexible and have a solution-oriented approach
  • Are proactive and have a genuine interest in development work
  • Have the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
  • See opportunities and strengths in a multicultural environment

We also consider it meritorious if you have previous work experience from working in after-school centers and if you have the qualifications to teach a subject.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
