Nature Science Teacher at Vadsbogymnasiet

Vadsbogymnasiet in Mariestad offers eleven national programs, both college-preparatory and vocational. The school also features sports specialization, youth entrepreneurship, and program certifications. Today, the school has just over 700 students and approximately 75 educators. We work together in program teams, close to the principal and the various professionals within student welfare services.

Due to a leave of absence, we are now looking for a Nature Science Teacher with a start date in August. The position is a temporary assignment covering 80% for the academic year 2026/27. If you are also qualified in Mathematics or Religion, the employment percentage can be increased to 100%.

Job Responsibilities

As a Nature Science Teacher at Vadsbogymnasiet, you will teach students from both college-preparatory and study-preparatory programs. You will be part of the working team for the Technology Program.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you must be a certified upper secondary school teacher with qualifications in Nature Science.

You are a dedicated teacher who puts the student's needs at the center. You have a genuine interest in your subject as well as in pedagogy, and you understand that good relationships with students are a crucial foundation for their learning. It is important that you have the ability and desire to create motivation, enthusiasm, and energy among your students.

As a person, you are secure and capable of working independently. You see the benefits of collaborating with your teaching colleagues as well as other professionals in the school to develop teaching and create good conditions for students to reach their goals.
