Responsibilities

Our preschool is located at Skogshyddegatan 23, up in Överåsvallen, where nature is a natural part of our daily routine. Here, you will work close to forests and nature, which we often visit and explore together with the children. The preschool consists of three departments, and we work with mixed-age groups. Good cooperation across departments is an important part of our operations, and we believe in building strong relationships between children and educators to ensure high quality in the preschool. Our systematic quality work (SKA) has a special focus on language and communication, something that permeates our entire pedagogical activity.

You lead the pedagogical work together with colleagues in an engaged team. Together, you plan, implement, document, and follow up on the education based on the preschool curriculum. We believe in a working method where cooperation, responsibility, and clear communication are a natural part of everyday life.

We value good relationships, both with children, guardians, and colleagues, and see you as an important role model in the children's lives. Together, we build community for both big and small!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed preschool teacher
• have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• have good knowledge of using digital tools in work

You take responsibility for both your own and the team's tasks and contribute to good cooperation.

You build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are also responsive in your approach and show respect and care for others.

You understand that children have different prerequisites and absorb knowledge in different ways. Based on this, you create a safe and developmental environment where every child gets the opportunity to develop at their own pace.

We are responsible for education and care for approximately 25,000 children in nearly 350 municipal preschools. The administration has around 7,000 employees distributed across approximately 75 professions. Together, we work towards the same goal – to develop a fun, safe, and educational preschool for all children in Gothenburg.
