ABOUT THE POSITION

At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client just outside Vännäs. The position is a temporary hourly vacancy on an as-needed basis. Working hours are primarily weekdays from 09:45 to 17:00, with weekend work only in exceptional cases.

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction process soon.

Our client is a woman in her 50s who lives with her husband in a beautiful natural setting just outside Vännäs. Due to a brain injury, she needs support in her daily life, but the focus is on life around her. She is looking for someone who shares her interest in cooking and gardening – and who has the ability to spread joy and laughter even when life presents challenges. Here you will have a significant role where you truly make a difference in another person's life.

We are looking for someone who is calm and secure, with the ability to take initiative. You are responsible, considerate, and have an empathetic attitude. REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Driver's license and access to a car (client lives a few kilometers outside Vännäs town center)
• You are a non-smoker

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working as a personal assistant or other care experience
• Care education or equivalent

Employment Level: 1–2 temporary hourly staff

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits according to collective agreement.

You can easily download the certificate of personal registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
