Job Description
Do you want to make a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the role of Operational Manager is a meaningful career choice. As an Operational Manager, you are responsible for institution-wide coordination and workforce management of ongoing operations outside of office hours, during evenings and nights, with the aim of promoting a safe care and work environment. You guide and support your colleagues in their work and ensure that operations are conducted in a legally secure manner and in accordance with current guidelines, methods, and set goals. Specifically, this includes being responsible for incident command during alarm situations and taking necessary measures after an incident has occurred. You report identified deficiencies and deviations from routines to relevant managers. You create and update safety assessments and make decisions regarding compulsory measures in accordance with the Swedish Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act (LVU), the Care of Alcoholics and Drug Addicts (Special Provisions) Act (LSU), and the Psychiatric Care Act (LVM), in line with SiS's work and delegation regulations.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are a stable person who remains calm even in stressful situations. You have the will and ability to act based on current decisions, guidelines, and policies. You have a holistic view and act in the best interest of the organization. Furthermore, you are structured in your work and have a good ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
You must also have:
- A suitable university degree such as social work, behavioral science, or another equivalent higher education degree, or alternatively, at least a two-year university college degree (treatment pedagogy) combined with experience working within SiS or a similar organization.
- Several years of experience working within SiS or another organization focused on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, healthcare and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant operations.
- Good ability to lead, prioritize, and coordinate a work group.
- Valid B-class driver's license.
- Special emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
Working hours are distributed across day, evening, and night shifts (three-shift system).
