Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to guide our participants toward a more independent life.

We have undergone an exciting organizational change focusing on working purposefully together with the participant to understand and change behaviors and thought patterns. The goal is to create sustainable change and increased quality of life. We are now looking for a 12-Step Therapist/Supervisor who will complement other professional groups in supporting, supervising, and guiding participants both individually and in groups regarding the step-by-step progress they need to make, regardless of life area.

VÄXT-huset (The GROWTH House) is directed at people who need step-by-step progress toward better mental health, independence, and self-sufficiency. The operation includes supervisors who map participants' abilities and functions and support change and self-sufficiency through work or studies.

Your contribution will be crucial for the participants' success. You will become part of an engaged team where collaboration, open dialogue, and support from various professions within the Social Services Administration, as well as external partners, are key to success.

At VÄXT-huset, you will meet all participants and work with them both individually and in groups, accompanying them in their assignments to identify abilities and support behavioral change forward when needed.

Qualifications

• 12-Step Therapist certification
• At least 2–3 years of experience in therapeutic work
• Knowledge and experience in individual counseling and group therapy
• A genuine belief in people's ability to change and enjoy working in teams where members support each other
• An interest and understanding of practical work, preferably in gardening or green environments, as you will be part of the operation and work together with participants
• Self-assured and capable of leading and inspiring participants
• Good communication skills, empathetic, and relationship-building in your approach
• Curious, creative, and willing to test new working methods when needed
• Balanced emotional stability and confidence even in challenging situations
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid Category B driver's license, manual transmission, as you will move between different workplaces
