Treatment Assistant at HVB Pilkasens Gård

We are looking for you who want to work full-time (permanent position) as well as part-time and hourly positions as a Treatment Assistant at HVB Pilkasens Gård.

As a Treatment Assistant, you work with supporting, motivating, and guiding young people through their treatment process. You provide emotional, social, and practical support. Your role involves both structured conversations and supportive daily interventions. You encourage and motivate school attendance, internships, summer jobs, and an active, meaningful daily life. You collaborate closely with the responsible social services, guardians, schools, healthcare providers, and other actors in the young person's life.

The interventions are guided by the social services' mandate, defined in care and implementation plans. Your work is carried out in accordance with the organization's established policies and routines, applying evidence-based methods and approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and Low-Affective Handling.

A key part of the role as a Treatment Assistant is documentation, including keeping ongoing journals, summarizing monthly reports, and creating implementation plans.

The duties also include participation in the organization's systematic quality work, as defined in the management system. This includes risk assessments, deviation management, and self-controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a genuine interest in working with young people. You are sensitive, empathetic, and capable of building honest and trusting relationships. You show genuine care while maintaining structure and setting boundaries pedagogically through a low-affective approach. You take personal responsibility in daily work within given frameworks and possess strong collaboration skills. Flexibility is highly valued.

You hold a university degree in social work or at least a 2-year post-secondary education in social work.

Knowledge and experience in the following areas are meritorious: CBT, MI, DBT, ART, low-affective handling, mental health issues, and neuropsychiatric diagnoses. Interest in horses and riding is also considered an advantage.

The positions are available full-time, part-time, and as hourly contracts. It is important that you specify in your application which type of position you are seeking.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends (including sleeping on-call duty). We also offer hourly positions with EVENING/NIGHT ONLY and sleeping on-call duty.
