We are currently seeking an experienced Project Controller for a long-term consultancy assignment in Stockholm with a major public sector actor driving extensive infrastructure investment projects. This role is ideal for you if you want to work with financial planning, project monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in complex project environments.

This is an assignment for you who want to contribute to societal development while working closely with project managers and technical organizations.

About the Assignment – Project Controller within Investment Projects

As a Project Controller, you are responsible for financial management and monitoring of investment projects. You work with several parallel projects and ensure that budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses maintain high quality.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Plan and structure the financial work according to established processes

• Develop and improve routines, templates, and financial tools

• Quality assure forecasts, outcomes, and project budgets

• Participate in and sometimes lead forecast meetings and financial meetings

• Support project managers with analysis, decision support, and accounting documentation

• Handle invoicing and co-financing with external parties

• Monitor contracts, grants, costs, and variances

• Deliver financial reporting to projects and management

You work in systems such as Hypergene, Antura, Agresso, Avima, or similar.

Other Details: Start: 2026-08-10 End: 2028-08-31 Scope: Full-time Location: Stockholm (Possibility for both remote work and on-site work) Employment Type: Employed by Devotum as the client does not approve subcontractors in this process.

About You

We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

• At least 3 years of university education in Business Economics

• At least 8 years of experience in controlling/accounting

• At least 3 years of experience as a Controller within infrastructure/construction projects

• At least 1 year of experience with project management systems (Hypergene, Antura, Avima, Primavera, or similar)

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• At least three (3) years of documented experience working in a project format, with responsibility for a project portfolio with a total budget of at least 100 million SEK.

• Experience working with contracts in collaborative forms or cost-plus projects from at least one (1) previous assignment
