Bergstrands has been around since 2006 and currently provides education within municipal adult education at two locations and vocational upper secondary education at three high schools, as well as labor market training at several locations throughout Sweden.

Bergstrands High School in Uppsala has been around since 2010 and offers three national upper secondary programs: Vehicle and Transport, Sales and Service, and Construction and Civil Engineering. We have approximately 300 students at the high school and are located in modern, newly built premises in Fyrislund. The premises also house Bergstrands Adult Education and our labor market training programs.

We are a medium-sized school with relatively small classes, and our size is one of our strengths as we are small enough to get to know all our students well, allowing us to create a safe and family-like atmosphere. Here, every student and every employee is important, and we work closely together to ensure everyone succeeds, both students and staff. The word Together runs as a red thread through everything we do.

About the position

We are looking for a teacher for the Passenger Car specialization within the Vehicle Program.

You will teach courses included in the education. We are primarily looking for you with teaching experience and preferably with a teaching license. However, since there are several teachers on the program who share responsibility for planning and implementing the teaching, this is a fantastic opportunity for you who have not yet worked as a teacher to try out this amazing profession with great support from experienced and knowledgeable colleagues.

This is a fantastic opportunity to test the teaching profession for you who have not yet dared to take the step but are interested in working with young people and education. We are used to welcoming new colleagues directly from the industry, and you will receive a secure introduction to the teaching profession with great support from your new colleagues.

You will be part of the Vehicle Program's work team and participate actively in the team's development work, so you should be able to work well with other people, listen, and communicate.

It is important that you want to and have the ability to lead groups and individuals, as well as the ability to convey knowledge. You enjoy working with people, which means you are outgoing and social, and you enjoy building relationships.
