Assberg Preschool is centrally located in Skene. The preschool has six departments where we work with age-segregated groups of children. We work together throughout the building using the "Före Bornholm" method and place great emphasis on language development and reading aloud.

Job Responsibilities

As a person, you find it easy to create and maintain relationships and are easy to collaborate with. You have a great deal of patience, are confident in yourself, and can handle environments that are sometimes loud and fast-paced. We also see that you are skilled at communicating and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. Digital tools are used in the pedagogical activities for documentation and development, so your experience with digital tools is important. We welcome you who are innovative, engaged, and find joy in being a co-researching preschool teacher who is close to the children.

We work strongly on co-creation and everyone's opportunity for participation, both for children and educators. You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Through joint collegial reflections, we meet each other's thoughts and grow in our profession.

We are looking for you who, with creativity and pedagogical insight, want to help create an inspiring learning environment for the children. You have a natural ability to build good relationships with both children, colleagues, and guardians, and you see collaboration as an important part of the pedagogical work. As a co-researching educator, you meet the children's curiosity with engagement and a desire to explore together.

You are proactive and confident in your leadership, and you take responsibility for moving the operations forward and contributing to a safe, fun, and educational everyday life. If you are someone who is curious about being driving forces in the preschool's development journey and systematic quality work, this is an opportunity for you.

We see that you make wise decisions in your daily work with good judgment and a reflective approach, contributing to positive development for both children and the work team. For us, it is important that you, as someone who wants to work as a preschool teacher with us, feel curiosity towards your assignment.

Qualifications

You are educated and licensed as a preschool teacher, or have other relevant education that can be considered equivalent. We would like you to have experience working with children and be well-versed in the preschool's governing documents and systematic quality work.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
