Area for Violence in Intimate Relationships and Sexual Violence
We are Akademiska Sjukhuset (Uppsala University Hospital) – one of Sweden's leading university hospitals. As a county hospital and provider of highly specialized care, we offer healthcare to two million people in Central Sweden. Something is always happening here – a new life is born, a grandmother undergoes surgery, a colleague is hailed as a hero. Here, you will experience both tough challenges and fantastic events, within a strong community of colleagues. We welcome your application!
Our Operations
The Area for Violence in Intimate Relationships and Sexual Violence (VINR S) at Akademiska Sjukhuset collaborates with the National Centre for Women's Peace (NCK) at Uppsala University. NCK has a government mandate to increase national knowledge about men's violence against women, honor-related violence and oppression, violence in same-sex relationships, and violence against men, as well as to provide support to victims of violence. Support for victims is provided through four national support lines: the Women's Peace Line, the Support Line for Men, the Support Line for Transgender People, and the Right to Choose. All national support lines are directed at victims of violence, their relatives, and professionals.
The telephone support of the support lines is open 24/7. The chat support is open five days a week.
The operation also includes a specialist clinic for women victims of violence, located at Akademiska Sjukhuset, open Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.
VINR S is a growing operation with new assignments and increased staffing. We are now seeking a Staffing Administrator at 60% who can support the operation's managers in maintaining staffing goals and scheduling for the national support lines and the clinic.
Your Assignment
The role of Staffing Administrator primarily involves handling scheduling, securing staffing, registering absence, and appointing substitutes.
The assignment also includes monitoring absence and leave, and rescheduling existing plans as needed. The assignment is based on the Working Hours Act, current collective agreements, and the operation's rules and routines.
Other administrative tasks are also included in the assignment.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who can work independently and in a structured manner, both in the long term and short term. It is important to be able to handle several parallel processes simultaneously and see all parts of the operation. You are service-oriented, have communication and networking skills, and possess good collaboration abilities.
For the role of Staffing Administrator, a secondary education and previous experience in scheduling and staffing are required. Furthermore, a solution-oriented approach is required, as the work may involve changed conditions and demands the ability to effectively reprioritize tasks.
It is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as knowledge of Microsoft 365. Experience working in Heroma and other relevant personnel administrative systems, as well as additional training in administration, is meritorious.
Personal suitability is given great weight.
We Offer
We offer a position as a Staffing Administrator at 60%, with immediate start or as agreed. Probation may apply.
The work is located at Akademiska Sjukhuset, Monday to Friday, daytime.
