Kompetens och Utveckling AB is now looking for an engaged and qualified mentor for our office in Uppsala. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with people in transition and help job seekers achieve their goals through coaching, guidance, and matching with jobs or education.

Responsibilities

As a mentor, you will:

• Coach and guide job seekers towards employment or studies
• Create individual action plans and monitor participants' development
• Match candidates with vacant positions and educational programs
• Build and develop relationships with employers in the region
• Conduct individual interviews and group activities
• Document interventions according to current requirements and guidelines
• Actively contribute to participants achieving sustainable solutions on the labor market

Qualifications

You meet one of the following alternatives:

Alternative 1

• At least 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the old system)
• At least 2 years of full-time work experience

Alternative 2

• At least 1 year of full-time post-secondary studies with a passing grade
• At least 3 years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Work leadership with personnel responsibility
• Recruitment
• Transition work for job seekers
• Study and career guidance
• Processing of personnel matters
• Working life and labor market issues
• Social and group psychology
• Career guidance

Merits

• Experience with the Swedish Public Employment Service's service "Rusta och Matcha"
• Good knowledge of the labor market in the Uppsala region
• Extensive network of employers and companies in the region
• Additional language skills
• Experience in recruitment and employer contacts
• Sales-oriented and relationship-building personality
