About the position

In the lower secondary school, we are organized into four teams with three to four classes in each, plus one team that organizes student health services. Our students primarily receive teaching from teachers within their own team, which creates conditions for closeness and good relationships. We have a high level of teacher qualifications as well as experienced and engaged staff who work extensively with collegial learning. For us, it is important that our students feel they have a meaningful everyday life, are seen, and feel secure. We also invest heavily in developing our digital competence based on a clear digitalization plan where increased student goal achievement is the focus.

Examples of duties:

• plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in Swedish
• act as a mentor
• support students' social development and upbringing
• create a good environment for learning
• know and follow the organization's current laws, policies, and routines
• work and document in the existing operational systems

Qualifications

As a teacher with us, it is important that you are a calm and stable person who contributes to a secure school environment. You work well with others and have an attentive approach where you listen and communicate. Furthermore, you have knowledge of child development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and conditions. You are clear in your communication, ensuring that messages get through, and you take responsibility for your tasks and drive your processes forward. You also adapt easily to changed circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and attitude.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• teaching license with qualification to teach Swedish in grades 7-9, or alternatively a degree that qualifies for a teaching license

A teaching license with the specified qualification must be attached to the application, or alternatively a degree certificate that qualifies for a license.
