The Education Department is responsible for preschools, primary schools, after-school centers, upper secondary schools, adult education, as well as child and student health services. Here, approximately 1,100 employees work together to create a safe and developmental school and childcare environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a childcare worker at Nattugglan, you are part of a work team responsible for a group of children. You actively participate in play and various activities, and assist with meals and nap times. You are involved in pedagogical planning and are responsible for both indoor and outdoor activities. An important part of your work is documenting the pedagogical work and being a secure and supportive adult for the children in the activity. You plan and lead activities, ensuring that the children have various games and activities to participate in. Contact with guardians is also an important part of your duties. In summary, you contribute to creating a secure, stimulating, and educational environment for the children.

We place great emphasis on creating learning environments that inspire and challenge children in their exploration and development. Our constant question is whether our learning environments challenge the children or restrict them?

Our education is built based on the children's interests, and we work actively with their influence. We relate to the competent and exploratory child, which makes the preschool's role important – what we offer the children becomes their opportunities. The teaching is followed up through reflection together with the children and evaluation and analysis in the work team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • We are looking for you who are trained as a childcare worker.
  • We would appreciate if you have experience working in a preschool, but even you who are new to the role are interesting to us.
  • We value if you have good cooperation skills, are flexible, and see solutions and challenges instead of obstacles.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent.
Working hours: Schedule. Working conditions are 38.25 h/w – Mon–Sun and public holidays. Scheduled on-call hours on Saturday and Sunday.
