The profession of personal assistant places high demands on flexibility, responsibility, and respect. Being a personal assistant is an stimulating and challenging job where your ability to work based on our user's wishes is crucial.

I am a 31-year-old wheelchair-bound guy with Sotos Syndrome looking for an assistant. With me, it is one-on-one work, but you will always have the rest of the team available for any questions regarding work around me; you will never stand alone.

With me, you must be sensitive, patient, attentive, humorous, challenging, and meticulous, as I like order and tidiness in my home. You also need to be able to relay to others what I want to say, as I have difficulty expressing myself in full sentences.

I can manage to move myself, but during certain tasks, I will need your help.

As a person, you must not take anything I say personally; that is just who I am based on my diagnosis. It can be challenging with me sometimes, and I am not always easy to get along with, but you have the team to lean on again in times of uncertainty. We will resolve the rest as we go along.

I live in my own ground-floor apartment, and in the summers, I enjoy grilling and sitting on my patio watching all the cars and trailers drive by.

My interests are: gravel, trailers, music, singing, dancing, "snobby" cars, riding in my car, flowers, etc.

The position is approximately 60% with immediate start.
