About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with anything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a 50-year-old woman living in Malmö. Our client lives with autism and needs support with anything that may arise in daily life. She has an interest in cooking, enjoys taking long walks, and likes listening to music. As her assistant, you are welcome to share these interests and contribute with a calm, secure, and supportive presence.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Ability to work overnight shifts during the summer
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good physical fitness
• Enjoy working independently
• Non-smoker

Merits for the position:

• Previous experience working with people with autism
• Share the client's interests in cooking and walking

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on an as-needed basis. This summer, there will be an opportunity to work approx. 2-3 shifts per week. The position involves work during the day, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends. Working hours are from 15:00 to 15:00 with 9.5 hours of on-call time at night.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
