Do you speak Spanish? Do you want to become our new Spanish teacher?
Montessoriskolan i Barsebäck is looking for an engaged Spanish teacher (30–40%)
Are you passionate about languages, culture, and children's natural desire to learn? Do you want to work in an environment where "help me to do it myself" is not just a quote, but a daily reality? Then you might be the person we are looking for in this part-time position!
About Us
Montessoriskolan i Barsebäck is a small school with a big heart. We are nestled in beautiful nature, close to both the sea and the forest. At our school, children are met with security, calm, and an stimulating environment that sparks curiosity. We are a preschool to grade 9 school (F–9) where we value personal interaction and high academic standards.
The Role
We are looking for a Spanish teacher at 30–40% capacity. In this role, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating Spanish instruction in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum (Lgr22) and Montessori pedagogy. You have great freedom to structure the teaching in a creative and lively way that motivates students to communicate confidently. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the teaching team to create the best conditions for each student's individual language development.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a certified Spanish teacher (or has a strong pedagogical background and solid language skills that we assess as equivalent).
- Can bring the language to life and adapt teaching so that all students are challenged at their level.
- Is a confident leader in the classroom with a warm and positive demeanor.
Why choose us?
- Calm environment: Small student groups give you time to see, support, and listen to each individual student.
- Flexibility: A part-time position of 30–40%. Currently, we hold classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please specify which schedule suits you best.
- Short decision-making paths: As part of a smaller team, you have great opportunities to influence and put your own stamp on the Spanish subject with us.
- Community: We are a tight-knit group that supports each other and enjoys working together.
