Business Area: Violence in Close Relationships and Sexual Violence

We are Akademiska sjukhuset – one of Sweden's leading university hospitals. As a county hospital and provider of highly specialized care, we offer healthcare to two million people in Central Sweden. Here, something is always happening – a new life is born, a grandmother undergoes surgery, a colleague is hailed as a hero. Here, you will experience both tough trials and fantastic events, within a strong community of colleagues. We welcome your application!

Our Operations

The Business Area Violence in Close Relationships and Sexual Violence, VINR S, at Akademiska sjukhuset, collaborates with the National Centre for Women's Peace (NCK) at Uppsala University. NCK has a government mandate to raise national knowledge about men's violence against women, honor-related violence and oppression, violence in same-sex relationships, and male victims of violence, as well as to provide support to victims of violence. Support for victims is provided through the four national helplines: the Women's Peace Line, the Men's Support Line, the Transgender Support Line, and the Right to Choose. All national helplines are directed at victims of violence, their relatives, and professionals.

The helplines' telephone support is open 24/7. The helplines' chat support is open five days a week.

The operations also include a specialist clinic for women victims of violence at Akademiska sjukhuset, open Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.

VINR S is a growing operation with new assignments and increased staffing. We are now looking for a Staffing Administrator at 60%, who can support the operation's managers in maintaining staffing goals and scheduling for the national helplines and the clinic.

Your Assignment

The role of Staffing Administrator primarily involves managing scheduling, securing staffing, registering absence, and appointing substitutes.

The assignment also includes monitoring absence and leave, and rescheduling existing plans if necessary. The assignment is based on the Working Hours Act, current collective agreements, and the operation's rules and routines.

Other administrative tasks are also included in the assignment.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who can work independently and in a structured manner, both in the long and short term. It is important to be able to handle several parallel processes simultaneously and see all parts of the operation. You are service-oriented, have communication and networking skills, and possess good collaboration abilities.

For the role of Staffing Administrator, a high school education and previous experience in scheduling and staffing are required. Furthermore, a solution-oriented approach is required, as the work may involve changed conditions and requires the ability to efficiently reprioritize tasks.

It is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as knowledge of Microsoft 365. Experience working in Heroma and other relevant personnel administrative systems, as well as additional education in administration, is meritorious.

Personal suitability is of great importance.

We Offer

We offer a position as a Staffing Administrator, 60%, with immediate effect or as agreed. Probationary employment may apply.

The work is located at Akademiska sjukhuset, Monday to Friday, daytime.
