Business Area: Violence in Intimate Relationships and Sexual Violence

We are Akademiska Sjukhuset – one of Sweden's leading university hospitals. As a county hospital and provider of highly specialized care, we offer healthcare to two million people in Central Sweden. Here, something is always happening – a new life is born, a grandmother undergoes surgery, a colleague is hailed as a hero. Here, you will experience both tough challenges and fantastic events, within a strong community with your colleagues. We welcome your application!

Our Operations

The Business Area Violence in Intimate Relationships and Sexual Violence (VINR S) at Akademiska Sjukhuset collaborates with the National Centre for Women's Peace (NCK) at Uppsala University. NCK has a government mandate to raise national knowledge about men's violence against women, honor-related violence and oppression, violence in same-sex relationships, and male victims of violence, as well as to provide support to victims of violence. Support for victims is provided through four national support lines: the Women's Peace Line, the Support Line for Men, the Support Line for Transgender People, and the Right to Choose. All national support lines are directed at victims of violence, their relatives, and professionals.

The telephone support from the support lines is open 24/7. The chat support is open five days a week.

The operations also include a specialist clinic for women victims of violence at Akademiska Sjukhuset, open Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.

VINR S is a growing operation with new assignments and increased staffing. We are now seeking a Staffing Administrator at 60% who can support the operation's managers in maintaining staffing goals and scheduling for the national support lines and the clinic.

Your Role

The role of Staffing Administrator primarily involves handling scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing, registering absence, and appointing substitutes.

The role also includes monitoring absence and leave, and rescheduling existing plans if necessary. The role is based on the Working Hours Act, current collective agreements, and the operation's rules and routines.

Other administrative tasks are also included in the role.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who can work independently and in a structured manner, both long-term and short-term. It is important to be able to handle several parallel processes simultaneously and see the big picture within the operation. You are service-oriented, possess communication and networking skills, and have good teamwork abilities.

For the role of Staffing Administrator, a high school education and previous experience with scheduling and staffing are required. Furthermore, a solution-oriented approach is required, as the work may involve changing conditions and requires the ability to effectively reprioritize tasks.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as proficiency in Microsoft 365, is essential. Experience working with Heroma and other relevant personnel administrative systems, as well as further education in administration, is meritorious.

Personal suitability is of great importance.

What We Offer

We offer a position as a Staffing Administrator at 60%, with immediate effect or by agreement. A probationary period may apply.

The work is located at Akademiska Sjukhuset, Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
