Crucial societal tasks
You will play a central role in developing and maintaining technical command support, communication solutions, and protected command posts for a vital societal function. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues and other functions, where you together create the conditions for crisis and war organizations to operate effectively – in peacetime, at heightened readiness, and ultimately in war.
In this role, you work with requirements specification, development, and maintenance of technical solutions related to command and control. You become part of a group responsible for command posts, technical communication systems, and the communications function. The work is characterized by collaboration, long-term perspective, and high security awareness, where you contribute to robust and sustainable solutions in a complex and operationally critical environment. You primarily collaborate internally, but external collaboration with working groups within civil defense may also occur.
You will belong to the Implementation Readiness unit, which is responsible for operational readiness, including crisis and war organizations. Other responsibilities of the unit include managing on-call functions, developing and maintaining command posts, communication systems, as well as internal support and coordination of civil defense.
The unit belongs to the Readiness Department, which is responsible, among other things, for the agency's work on civil defense and crisis preparedness.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has
- Upper secondary education or other education that the agency deems relevant for the position
- Good knowledge of communication systems and understanding of their technical dependencies
- Signals security competence
- Category B driver's license
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
It is an advantage if you have
- Post-secondary education with a focus on technology or another focus that the agency deems relevant for the position
- Knowledge of and experience in project management
- Knowledge of and experience in public procurement
- Signals security chief training
- Experience from a government agency

Terms of employment
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting as agreed. The employment may begin with a six-month probationary period.
Some of our tasks are classified, which means that a security check with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted before a decision on employment is made. For some of our classified tasks, Swedish citizenship is also required. You may become part of the agency's crisis organization and may also be war-placed at the agency.
