About Förslövs School

Förslövs School is a preschool to grade 9 school with just over 530 students. We have 75 employees distributed across 5 work teams. We work based on "The whole child – the whole way" where we jointly take responsibility for both the social and academic development of our students. The foundation is based on an enabling and stimulating study environment where we strive to give every student the best possible schooling.

We focus on relational pedagogy with student safety and participation as important parts. Within our workforce, we have a high density of qualified teachers and a common drive to continue developing our school. Formative approach and inclusive learning environments are two areas we have worked with over time. This school year we have had competence development in language-developing working methods and analysis. Good working environment for both students and staff gives us fine conditions for our work.

We have a well-functioning student health service where we work systematically to develop the operations based on our needs and our results. Part of the work in recent years has been to develop our support organization and our learning environments from preschool to grade 9. In the lower secondary school, students have Macbooks as their digital tool and we have interactive TV screens and sound leveling systems in most classrooms.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher of Swedish and Social Studies. The assignment covers teaching students in grades 7-9.

Are you a trained teacher in these subjects with experience teaching grades 7-9 and looking for new challenges? Do you like to collaborate and be part of development work with subject colleagues, student health teams, and school leadership? Then we encourage you to take the chance to become part of the community at Förslövs School and in Båstad Municipality.

Your assignment will be to create the best possible solutions for learning within your subjects for students in grades 7-9. Your biggest task will naturally be to attract and challenge to learning at group and individual levels. Experience in working with support teaching is meritorious.

Our common development area is to further develop the pedagogical learning environment for all our students and a good working environment for both students and employees. As a pedagogue at Förslövs School, you are expected to contribute to the development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained and licensed for teaching grades 7-9 in Swedish and Social Studies with experience in the work. We want you to be a clear, secure, and inspiring leader for our students. Joy, engagement, and creativity are important parts in a learning environment where student development is in focus. You are a pro at creating relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

To thrive and do a good job, it is a prerequisite that you have flexible thinking, are easy to build relationships with, and have a professional approach. You are used to documenting your work and collaborating with various authorities outside the school. It is also important that you are a positive team player with the desire to learn and develop. Employment Conditions

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
