About the position

You will work at the Property Unit within the Community Development Administration. The administration consists of three departments: Citizen Service, Strategic Community Planning, and the Technical Department. The administration is responsible for ensuring service to citizens and businesses, strategic planning of community building, as well as the municipality's water and sewage operations, waste management, properties, and project organization as support for these operations during new and reinvestment projects.

At the Property Unit, you will be responsible for planning the municipality's premises supply and the development of facilities. There is 1 vacancy.

Responsibilities

Space Planning and Relocation

  • Plan relocation logistics: Coordinate schedules, moving companies, and internal communication during office moves.
  • Optimize room areas: Draw and plan how office spaces, meeting rooms, and common areas should be furnished best.
  • Order furniture: Purchase furniture, ergonomic tools, and equipment for new or existing premises.

Contracts and Economy

  • Review rent invoices: Check that invoices for rent, electricity, and heating match the agreements made.
  • Follow up on contracts: Keep track of notice periods and terms for local rent, local care, and contractors.
  • Budget costs: Calculate and compile costs for facility operations, renovations, and purchases.

Operations, Service, and Safety

  • Handle fault reports: Receive complaints regarding e.g., ventilation or broken lighting and forward them to the property owner.
  • Secure the work environment: Support operations in maintaining a good work environment related to the premises and its functions.
  • Manage permissions: Administer access cards, keys, and visitor systems for employees.

Qualifications and Merits

  • Relevant university education or other education and experience that we assess as equivalent.
  • Experience in leading projects, preferably according to established methods such as PPS or equivalent.
  • Experience from construction and infrastructure projects or technical operations.
  • Knowledge of contract law and experience with the Public Procurement Act (LOU) are meritorious.
  • Previous work within public operations and politically governed organizations is meritorious.
  • Good communicative skills in both speech and writing.
  • Fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package and experience working in various systems.
  • Valid B driver's license.
  • Good knowledge within property and construction.

Employment form and terms

Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent.

The position is vacant subject to no surplus, need for reassignment, or precedence existing in the municipality. Probationary employment may apply.
