About the Role Wrknest is currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a Security Technician specializing in security systems for an established and growing player in technical installation and security solutions in Östersund.

In this role, you will become an integral part of an experienced team where technical interest, problem-solving, and collaboration are key. Here you will enjoy a varied daily routine, working closely with customers, technicians, and the project organization in a role that sits right between technical execution and project planning. One day you might support technical preparations for larger projects, and the next day you could be on-site with a customer commissioning or troubleshooting systems.

This is a direct hire position, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Wrknest, but you will be employed directly by the client.

Your Future Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for technical planning, coordination, and follow-up within security systems. You will work both operationally and coordinatively, focusing on ensuring technically sustainable solutions tailored to customer needs and IT environments. The role involves significant customer contact and a wide variety between short service cases and longer projects.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting security systems such as intrusion alarms, access control systems, and CCTV
• Working with technical support, networks, and system-related issues
• Supporting technicians, project managers, and the sales organization with technical advice and planning
• Being responsible for documentation, system drawings, and technical preparations prior to installation
• Maintaining ongoing customer contact and contributing to the development of internal working methods and technical routines

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience working with low-voltage electricity, technical installations, or a related field
• Is computer literate and has an interest in technology
• Has a valid B-driver's license
• Communicates fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

The following qualifications are considered meritorious

• Experience with security systems
• Experience with CCTV/intrusion alarms
• Experience with access control systems such as ARX or RCO
• Experience with networks, IP addressing, or technical documentation
