Job Responsibilities

As a technician with us in Östersund, you will have a varied daily routine where you work with troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of technical equipment for customers. You handle equipment within IP and LAN, as well as fiber optics, antennas, access points, and other customer installations. The role involves work both indoors and outdoors, and working at heights is a natural part of the position.

In the role, you will among other things:

• troubleshooting and fault correction
• installation and replacement of equipment at customer sites
• configuration, alignment, and functional testing
• commissioning and ensuring functional connections
• welding and blowing of fiber optics
• service, repair, and replacement of equipment at heights

You will be based in Östersund and work closely with colleagues, production planners, and customers. For the right person, there is also the possibility of being stationed in Härjedalen. You report your work continuously via phone or computer and become an important part of making daily operations run smoothly for our customers.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a technical interest and thrive in a practical and varied role out in the field. You do not need to be a fully qualified mast technician, but you need to be comfortable working in the field and preferably at heights, and be motivated by a daily routine where tasks vary.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license for manual transmission
• good computer skills
• technical education at the upper secondary level or equivalent experience
• experience in similar work within technology, installation, fiber, or telecom is meritorious
• experience with mast work or mast certification is highly meritorious

Additional Information

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a 6-month probation period.

The basis for employment is a passed background check (including among other things checks of legal disputes and financial status).
