Your new job
As a Property Technician at Östersund Municipality, you will be part of a group consisting of team leaders, operations technicians, and property technicians who together are responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the operational area. You will also be involved in developing energy-saving proposals and will serve as a support to our tenants regarding property matters. You are a key cog in achieving the municipality's environmental goals and contributing to the development and optimization of our facilities, working methods, and routines to ensure efficient management.
Typical duties
- Practical responsibility for our buildings and their interior and exterior environments
- Inspection of sports halls and playgrounds
- Reporting faults and troubleshooting
- Repairs
- Maintenance of swimming facilities
- Systematic fire safety work
Your qualifications
Requirements
- You have education and/or experience as an operations technician, property technician, property maintenance worker, or energy technician. For example, the Energy Program, Operations and Maintenance line, or equivalent focus.
- You have a driver's license, preferably with an extended B license for trailers.
Meritorious
- You have education and certificates for e.g., scaffolding, cherry picker, bath water, and roof safety, inspection of playgrounds and sports halls.
- You have previous experience working with property maintenance, energy in buildings, and land maintenance.
- Good computer skills
- Ease of expressing yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

About Technical Management
Help build important societal functions for both our citizens and the municipality's operations. Our operations are very broad. We work with everything from park maintenance, waste management, recycling, and building maintenance to snow clearing, land and construction work, water purification, meal preparation, cleaning, and sanitation.
