At Manpower, we are currently looking for a mechanical assembler for a consultancy assignment with one of our industrial clients in Östersund. The assignment starts immediately and extends at least until mid-July. We warmly welcome your application!

About the Mechanical Assembler Role

As a mechanical assembler at Manpower, working on-site with one of our industrial clients, you will work in a production team handling mechanical production, assembly, service, and maintenance of equipment. The role is practical and varied, where quality, safety, and precision are important parts of the daily work. You report to the Production Manager and also serve as a resource for simpler electrical assembly tasks.

Examples of tasks include:

• Mechanical production and assembly of equipment
• Reading and interpreting drawings, instructions, and work instructions
• Assembly of mechanical components and tools
• Service, support, and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Ensuring correct methods for quality and function
• Following current safety regulations and internal procedures
• Contributing to continuous improvements in daily work

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who have a technical background and experience in mechanical production and assembly. You are responsible, quality-conscious, and have an easy time collaborating with others in a production environment.

We see that you have:

• Technical education with experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
• Documented experience in mechanical production and assembly
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills, preferably MS Office

Merits:

• Experience in continuous improvement work
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and the Machinery Directive
