About American High School
American High School was founded on a strong pedagogical philosophy. Our guiding principle is that "we work to ensure our students and employees reach their full potential." Therefore, we focus on both knowledge development and personal growth. Our culture is characterized by clear rules combined with care, which we call "Frames and Hugs" (Ramar och Kramar). The school operations are organized to prepare students for an international job market in a rapidly changing world; this is why our logo reads "Get ready for the world".
Everything that happens at the school is based on our four core values: Courage, Kindness, Knowledge & Curiosity, and Grit. Interactions between students and staff in classrooms and hallways are defined by behaviors derived from these values. We work closely with students and always put the students' best interests first.
