Have you worked with children and want to continue doing so, but at the same time develop in a new direction? Then this might be the role for you.

We are looking for a practical, secure, and structured person for a combined role as a family manager and office assistant. This role is particularly suitable for you who have experience with children or pedagogical work and want to combine that with work at a digital agency.

The role is primarily intended as a full-time position, but part-time may also be an option if it suits the right person better. The work is performed on-site at Styrmansgatan in Stockholm and is divided between the home and the company:

  • approximately 40% family management in a private home
  • approximately 60% varying tasks at a digital agency

The home and the office are located on the same street, making it easy to switch between the two parts during the day. The arrangement is formally handled through the company according to current tax regulations.

About the role

The private part involves helping a family with young children to make daily life run smoothly. The role may involve helping with children when needed, but also taking responsibility for practical matters in the home and contributing to a smooth daily routine.

There is already a functioning structure around daily logistics and family management. Currently, there are two people in this part of the arrangement. One of them will be on leave this summer and leave by autumn, while one person will continue. Therefore, we are now looking for a new person who can step into the role and move forward.

The company part involves contributing to the agency's daily work. You do not need to have worked at an agency before. What is important is that you are curious, meticulous, service-oriented, and eager to learn more about digital work.

This is a role for you who want to continue working close to children and family, but at the same time get the opportunity to develop within web, content, administration, digital tools, and agency work.

About the company

The company is a digital agency focused on accessibility, web, and digital solutions. We work with larger clients and many different projects.

At the agency, there are tasks within web, content, design, projects, administration, quality assurance, and internal structure. You do not need to know everything from the start. The company part can be shaped according to your strengths, interests, and desire to develop.

Responsibilities

Family management in the home, approx. 40%

You help keep the daily life in the home together and contribute to the family's daily life functioning. This may include, for example:

  • helping with children when needed
  • being secure and present in a young child environment
  • keeping the home organized, functional, and tidy in daily life
  • handling ongoing practical household tasks
  • ensuring common areas and daily routines run smoothly
  • coordinating deliveries, craftsmen, purchases, and matters
  • booking times, services, and suppliers
  • receiving deliveries and external contacts when needed
  • handling simpler purchases and practical matters
  • having foresight regarding what needs to be done

This is about security, responsibility, service, and practical problem-solving. The role suits you who are used to children and also enjoy creating order and a functioning daily life.

Work at the company, approx. 60%

At the company, you work with general tasks in the agency operations. It is a broad role where you help out where needed.

You do not need to be fully trained in digital work. The most important thing is that you are meticulous, curious, and want to learn. The tasks may include, for example:

  • publishing and updating content on websites
  • simpler graphic production
  • content for web, newsletters, or social channels
  • research and compilations
  • documentation and updating of internal materials
  • administration related to projects and clients
  • simpler quality assurance of websites and digital material
  • structuring of files, lists, templates, and internal routines
  • practical support in the office's daily life
  • other tasks needed at a web agency

If you have an interest in communication, design, web, accessibility, project coordination, administration, or digital tools, that is a positive.

Why this might suit you

This role might suit you if you have, for example, worked as a childcare worker, nanny, au pair, teacher, teaching assistant, leisure center staff, or in another role with children and families.

You will continue to use your security, sense of responsibility, and experience with children, but at the same time, you will have the opportunity to broaden yourself into a digital agency environment.

In the role, you will:

  • combine work with children and family with work at a digital agency
  • learn more about web, content, administration, and digital tools
  • get a varied workday with both practical and digital tasks
  • work in a small and changing environment where you can take responsibility
  • develop based on your strengths and interests
  • have clear frameworks but also significant personal responsibility

Your profile

We believe you are a person who:

  • has experience working with children
  • is secure in a young child environment
  • is practical, structured, and responsible
  • enjoys helping out where needed
  • has a good sense for order, service, and follow-up
  • can work independently without everything needing to be detailed-controlled
  • is comfortable working in a private home
  • handles confidential information in a professional manner
  • is curious about digital work and wants to learn more
  • is used to computers, mobile phones, and digital tools
  • writes well in Swedish and preferably also in English
  • is unpretentious and flexible in daily life

You may have a background in, for example, childcare, preschool, nanny work, au pair, pedagogical work, family management, house management, home service, administration, coordination, or service.
