Personal Assistant Wanted for 11-Year-Old Boy in Sollentuna

We are looking for several dedicated, reliable, and caring personal assistants for an 11-year-old boy in Sollentuna.

He is a curious and charming boy who loves music, plays the piano, and enjoys conversation. He has a large vocabulary, but his speech is unclear, which means you will use communication aids at work. You will naturally receive introduction and training in the aids used.

When he feels safe, he shows a lot of humor, joy, and personality. He also appreciates walks and other outdoor activities.

To thrive and feel well, he needs structure, predictability, and calm adults around him. Sometimes frustration can lead to challenging behavior, which is why we are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and can maintain calm even in difficult situations. The work is based on a low-affective approach, clarity, and respect for the boy's needs.

You will primarily work in the family's home and become an important part of his daily life. Together with the family, you will contribute to a secure, positive, and developmental environment.

Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you will among other things:

• Be a secure support in daily life
• Create structure and predictability
• Plan and carry out activities based on his interests
• Participate in walks and other outdoor activities
• Work with communication aids
• Handle challenging situations with a calm and low-affective approach
• Collaborate closely with the family

• Have experience with autism, preferably also intellectual disability
• Are calm, secure, and stable as a person
• Have patience and a low-affective approach
• Can be clear and consistent in a respectful way
• Take initiative and can create meaningful activities
• Enjoy building long-term relationships
