We are now looking for a substitute manager for our Dog Daycare as part of our day activity program in Södertälje, with a chance of extension.

We are looking for you who can stand as an approved Manager for Dog Daycare with the County Administrative Board.

About the operations

JATC Community Health Care has been running LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) activities for 30 years. Our intention is to offer a safe, manageable context with a meaningful everyday life, based on the participant's own unique abilities.

Our target group is young adults with neuropsychiatric functional variations with some activity limitation. We offer a creative holistic concept: housing, day activities with market-oriented workplaces, and an active leisure time.

Today we have operations in Strängnäs, Järna, Södertälje, and Nynäshamn. Our clients are primarily municipalities and county councils. The majority of our participants are linked to the LSS law and the Social Services Act.

About the job

Job duties as Work Instructor

We have many different activities in our day activity program where different personal talents and interests become qualitative tools in our care work.

The operations are flexible, which means that some of our daily activities are long-term, e.g., dog daycare, creative workshop, music studio, media/data, and a gym that includes our health project. Some activities we work with based on shorter project forms depending on the group and individual interests, such as stable service.

The job duties include pedagogical tools as well as individual action plans, documentation, low-affective handling, solution-focused and coaching approach, and following up on interventions.

Qualifications

• High school education, meritorious within animals or Care & Assistance or Child & Leisure social orientation.
• Education in Dog/Dog Training/Dog Daycare – approved for Dog Daycare with the County Administrative Board.
• Previous experience within LSS.
• Knowledge/experience within psychiatry, NPD diagnoses, and people with activity limitations.
• Good computer skills, as we record journals and report time digitally.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• Category B driver's license.

Other

Working hours are during the day.

Physical activities with participants occur. Since the day activity program runs a Dog Daycare and stable service, you should not be overly sensitive to fur animals. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.
