Then apply for our 1-year fixed-term position as a social worker at the Domestic Violence Center in Södertälje!

We at the Domestic Violence Center are divided into the authority section and outpatient care, consisting of social workers, therapists, and a team leader. We are a total of 15 people. Together, we have unique competence and experience with different educational backgrounds and professional experience. This means we are a strong team that works together, respects, challenges, and supports each other. All for the sake of our clients and citizens getting as good a life situation as possible. Our goal is always that they should live a life of safety free from violence. On our unit called "Support for Adults," we also have budget and debt counselors, eviction prevention officers, outreach workers, a team leader, and a unit manager.

Your responsibilities

We are now looking for a new colleague for our Authority section. You will mainly conduct investigations, approve, and follow up on measures for victims and perpetrators of violence. We work with consent for measures and in close collaboration with several units within the social services office. For this position, it is important that you can express yourself well in speech and writing as there is a strong emphasis on authority tasks. You, just like your future colleagues in the Authority section, work in close collaboration with the therapists in Outpatient Care. We also collaborate with the Police in Södertälje. The role involves travel, mostly day trips, within Sweden.

Who are you?

Requirements:

• University degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Category B driver's license
• Experience working with adult victims of violence and/or perpetrators within Social Services
• Several years of experience in authority tasks, investigations, decisions, and follow-up of measures
• Experience with different types of risk assessments such as Patriark, Freda, RBM
• Experience organizing collaboration meetings with various actors related to client needs

The workplace is centrally located in Södertälje. We work in an open-plan office. Working hours Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00. We have annual working hours, wellness allowance, and the possibility of holiday exchange.
