Description

As an employee at Gislaved Municipality, you are a co-creator in your workplace. You are given the opportunity and expected to contribute to the development of the operations through your knowledge and experience. At our organization, respect for differences and the equal value of all people are fundamental.

Åsenskolan is currently looking for a driven educator who wants to work with our students who require special support. You will be responsible for teaching at our study center. Here, we support students who need an alternative study environment for parts of their school day. At the study center, students can have increased opportunities for a study environment in a smaller setting, as well as access to more adult support. Our special education group is also located at the study center, and teaching this group is part of the job responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching, result follow-up, joint planning, and development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified special needs teacher and/or have a teaching license for grades 7–9 or 4–6. You have experience working with students in need of special support. You have knowledge of the curriculum content and feel that you can contribute to operational development together with colleagues in a collegial learning environment. We expect you to have excellent ability to work both goal-oriented and solution-focused based on current governing documents, with the child's best interest always in focus. As a person, you should be easy to collaborate with, contribute to a positive work climate, and be part of an effective work group. You have the ability to build good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Interviews are conducted continuously during the application period.

The recruitment process may be terminated if required decisions are not made.

Your role as an employee is deeply linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in the development of yourself and the operations. At our organization, this means you have good cooperation with your manager and colleagues, both at your own workplace and within the rest of the municipal group. You treat everyone with a high level of service, kindness, and high quality through a customer and service focus. You take responsibility for involving yourself in operational matters and are solution-oriented.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that your view of employment matches ours.

We apply background checks (extract from the criminal record register) as a form of suitability assessment for all offered positions in operations where there is direct and regular contact with children and young people.

Do you want to be part of our success? Send us your application!

At Gislaved Municipality, full-time employment is a right, and therefore vacant positions are advertised as full-time. Part-time is of course an option when the operations can accommodate it. Positions shorter than 3 months and certain roles may be exempted. In connection with the recruitment process, Gislaved Municipality has taken a stance on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore expressly decline contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.
