ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for you who want to work as a temporary substitute, working on an as-needed basis as a personal assistant for our client in Heby, Uppsala. Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

Working hours include:

• 08:30 - 21:00 Mon-Thu

• 08:30 - 08:30 Mon-Thu (with 11.5h waiting time overnight)

• 08:30 - 22:00 Fri-Sun

• 09:30 - 09:30 Fri-Sun (with 11.5h waiting time overnight)

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 40s with autism. He needs support with daily routines but manages all transfers independently. Furthermore, the client enjoys participating in various activities, listening to music, and watching movies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Manual driver's license

• Non-smoker

• Fluent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Employment level: Temporary substitute

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Kura Omsorg, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and submit a background check certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the background check certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. Since the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
