At Agnesfrid Upper Secondary School, we are looking for a teacher to instruct in English, Physical Education and Health, as well as Swedish and/or Swedish as a Second Language. Work with us and help shape the future of Malmö residents and society. This is a fixed-term position (temporary assignment) from 2026-08-10 to 2027-12-21.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you work to ensure that students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their individual conditions. Your work includes planning, teaching, and assessment, as well as evaluating and developing the educational activities in accordance with the school's governing documents.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you are situated in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Teaching certification
• Qualification to teach English, Physical Education and Health, and Swedish and/or Swedish as a Second Language at the upper secondary level
• Experience in using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• Good understanding of the school's goals and governing documents
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Qualification to teach other subjects
• Experience teaching English, Physical Education and Health, Swedish and/or Swedish as a Second Language
• Experience in other teaching or pedagogical work.

Your working style is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks effectively. Furthermore, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and listen attentively to your surroundings. You also have an understanding of how students' background, culture, and group affiliation affect learning, and you create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.

About the Workplace

Agnesfrid Upper Secondary School is a small school with a strong sense of community. Here, both upper secondary and adult education are offered in vocational and introduction programs for students interested in electricity, technology, vehicles, and transport. Teaching takes place in professional facilities where service, repairs, maintenance, and installations are taught. The school is conveniently located in Fosieby, where many of the large car companies are based, providing proximity to the labor market and cooperation partners.
