About the position

We are looking for you who are a special needs teacher (specialpedagog) with a background as a teacher for grades 1–3 and 4–6. In this role, together with your special needs teacher colleagues, you will be responsible for providing special support within the comprehensive school, mentoring teachers, and developing the school's learning environment. The position also includes teaching in adapted comprehensive school (subject focus) and regular comprehensive school.

You will be part of the school's Student Health Team and work closely with the school management.

Good relationships with students and colleagues are key success factors for us – all students should feel safe and have their voices heard! As a special needs teacher, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for inspiring, stimulating, setting demands, and making it possible for every student to develop based on their prerequisites and achieve good results.

You are well-grounded in current regulatory documents and work consciously with students' influence and participation in their learning. Your work is based on a scientific foundation where you take significant responsibility for the school's Systematic Quality Work (SQW) towards established goals and for pedagogical development forward.

We are looking for you who have a special needs teacher degree and previous experience as a teacher in comprehensive school.

In your work, you have a clear student focus, see the competent student, are engaged in pedagogical development work, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. With your drive and commitment, you inspire both students and teachers.

You are clear, goal-oriented, and value good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. In your work, you are positive and engaged, have good collaboration skills, and are comfortable communicating both verbally and in writing. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

About the employment

Before employment with us, we will ask you to present an extract from the Police Register. The extract we require is "School or preschool". You request the extract yourself on the police website: Criminal Record - Request extract | The Swedish Police Authority (polisen.se).

You also need to present a passport or national ID card issued by the police at the interview.

About the workplace

Tolvåkerskolan F-6 is a smaller F-6 school located in central Löddeköpinge. The unit also includes Tolvåkerskolan Adapted Comprehensive School with a shared principal. We have close cooperation between the school forms. We work from the goal that all students should be inspired and challenged based on their prerequisites. They should feel the joy of success! We do this by creating well-being and developing each student into an independent and curious person with the opportunity to reach knowledge goals.
