Description

We are now looking for you who are an engaged and curious social worker with knowledge and experience of preliminary assessments and investigations within various areas of social services.

You want to make a difference for those seeking help and support, and you believe in every individual's opportunity for change, seeing the family network as a positive driving force. You value children's participation and rights and have humility regarding the complexity of every person's context.

The reception function is the gateway to social services, and at the reception, we work with receiving and handling incoming reports and applications concerning adults, children, young people, and their families. The reception also has an advisory function to provide service and guidance to the correct authority.

We conduct preliminary assessments in close collaboration with the individual/family, colleagues, and unit manager. As a social secretary with us, you belong to a unit with colleagues and management who always support each other and help out when needed.

We work with BBIC in the Lifecare system.

Qualifications

The work requires that you have a good ability to structure your work and time, that you are flexible, and take initiative. As a person, you are sensitive with a good ability to collaborate, both internally and externally. If you have these abilities, you have great opportunities to contribute to and continue the development of our operations.

Based on interest and competence, there are opportunities to develop and participate in several areas within Individual and Family.

You who apply are/have:

• A social work degree and experience of exercising authority within social services.
• Experience of meeting and holding conversations with adults, children/young people, and their families in various situations.
• Good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.
• Good knowledge of the authority's responsibility for case processing and documentation, as well as experience and knowledge regarding current legislation (SoL and LVU/LVM).
• Category B driver's license.

Conditions

Those offered a position within the Child and Family Unit must present an extract from the criminal record register. Such an extract must be ordered by you personally.
