Within the Department of Care and Elderly Care, full-time employment is the norm. This means that all permanent employees are fundamentally employed on a full-time basis. About the Operations

We are currently looking for two support pedagogues for two of our LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations: Vänortsgatan 97 and Otto Myrbergs väg 12.

Vänortsgatan 97 is a service housing facility located in Flogsta–Ekeby. The area offers proximity to nature, green spaces, and jogging tracks. Activities are offered both in groups and individually based on the residents' wishes.

Otto Myrbergs väg 12 is a group home in Rickomberga with five residential places for adults with LSS decisions. The operation is located in a multi-family house and offers common areas for social interaction and activities. Staff is available around the clock.

Working hours are scheduled and include day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Job Responsibilities

As a support pedagogue, you work closely with the residents and base your work on each individual's needs, prerequisites, and wishes. You work in a structured and pedagogical manner to strengthen independence and participation in daily life.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • ensuring that every person's needs and wishes are met
  • providing support in daily activities, personal care, and household chores
  • creating, following up on, and updating implementation plans together with the user
  • working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and TAKK (Total Communication)
  • pedagogically leading and inspiring colleagues in working with structure and visual supports
  • collaborating with relatives and other actors in the user's network
  • working salutogenically and based on the individual's strengths and abilities
  • contributing to good teamwork and a safe working environment

Qualifications

Requirements

  • education as a support pedagogue (200 YH credits) or equivalent education with at least 60 hp in pedagogy
  • experience working with the target group within LSS
  • experience working with AAC
  • knowledge of low-affective interaction
  • good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
