At S:ta Maria Folk High School in Malmö, we are looking for a new colleague for the autumn term of 2026: a teacher primarily in Swedish, with another suitable subject combination, such as English. The position is full-time and can extend for at least one academic year.
S:ta Maria is one of the folk high schools that has been granted 15 additional places by the government, via the Swedish National Council for Adult, Family and Civic Education (Folkbildningsrådet), for language support initiatives within preparatory vocational training.
The position includes teaching Swedish in general courses, primarily at the compulsory school level but also at the upper secondary level. The role can also be combined with teaching in another subject, for example, English.
The position also includes teaching "theme" courses at our compulsory school level, homework tutoring, and mentorship for approximately 15–20 students.
The position begins as a fixed-term appointment for one academic year and can be extended to two years. It may subsequently transition into a permanent position, depending on external political decisions or internal organizational changes. The position starts as a probationary appointment during the autumn of 2026.
