Automation Technician

Your Role

As an Automation Technician with us, you play a central role in ensuring stable operations and high technical availability in our machinery fleet. You work closely with production and drive development forward – both by improving existing solutions and handling the technical challenges that arise in daily operations.

You combine operational work with projects, such as reconstructions and new installations. In these projects, you represent the automation field and ensure that the right requirements are set and that the solutions work in practice.

How You Contribute

• Develop and improve existing machines and automation solutions
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues in the machinery fleet
• Participate in commissioning, testing, and verification during reconstructions and new installations
• Lead and contribute to smaller internal automation projects
• Represent automation as a requirements specifier in projects
• Collaborate closely with automation electricians, production technicians, design engineers, and IT

Qualifications

• You have an education in electrical/automation or equivalent experience, along with several years of experience working in automation or industrial production
• Strong technical understanding of industrial processes, including experience with PLC troubleshooting/programming, HMI, and interpreting electrical schematics and control panels
• Basic knowledge of industrial communication, such as Profinet or Modbus
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with robot programming, electrical design, project work, or specifying requirements to external parties, as well as knowledge of machine safety, is considered an asset
