About the Role

As a Project Manager at Uddcomb, you are responsible for driving projects through the entire process – from costing and planning to delivery and follow-up. You work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal specialist functions in projects where technology, economics, and schedules are crucial for success.

You will become a key person in the organization and are expected to provide clear leadership in the projects. The role requires you to step up, drive issues forward, and create structure even in complex and changing project environments. You have the mandate to make decisions within the project's framework and the ability to bring people together towards common goals.

This is a role for you who thrives on responsibility and is motivated by leading projects where progress, communication, and business acumen are decisive.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in quotation and costing work together with the sales department
• Plan and lead projects from start to delivery
• Create schedules and ensure project progress
• Coordinate suppliers, resources, and project deliveries
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and contractual requirements
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks
• Drive the project organization towards set goals and deadlines
• Ensure projects are carried out according to Uddcomb's project methodology and procedures
• Report status and progress to internal and external stakeholders

Who We Are Looking For

You are a person who combines leadership qualities with structure, drive, and business acumen. You have the ability to build trust within the project team while also daring to set demands, make decisions, and push projects forward when necessary.

To succeed in this role, we believe you:

• Have experience in project management, either practical or through education
• Are confident in your leadership and enjoy taking responsibility
• Dare to step up, drive issues, and create momentum
• Have strong analytical skills and understand how decisions impact budget, schedule, and delivery
• Are structured, solution-oriented, and communicative
• Have high collaboration skills and can coordinate many interfaces simultaneously
• Are flexible and can adapt to the needs of the projects
• Have basic technical understanding of design and manufacturing
• Have very good proficiency in Swedish and English
• Have experience with MS Project and Office 365

Practical experience from the design or manufacturing of mechanical components is an advantage. It is also a plus if you have worked within the nuclear power industry.
