Welcome to E.ON – and become part of the energy transition. In collaboration with our customers and partners, we ensure that electricity and heat are produced, used, and recycled more intelligently. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, E.ON is the place for you.
About Us
Do you want to help develop the electricity grid of the future in a business where technology, customer focus, and public benefit go hand in hand? Then this might be the role for you.
You will become part of the Customer Delivery team in Kalmar/Blekinge, responsible for the local grid in large parts of Kalmar County as well as the entire Blekinge County. The team consists of 12 dedicated colleagues in project management, design, and grid technology, based in both Kalmar and Karlshamn. Together, we work closely with our customers and partners to enable the energy transition and build a sustainable energy society.
Your Role
As a Grid Technician, the focus is on ensuring high-quality delivery to customers through both connection and repair assignments. You are responsible for handling incoming customer cases, such as new connections, repairs, and questions related to the electricity grid – always with the goal of creating sustainable and functional solutions for both customers and the grid.
The tasks are technical in nature and include, among other things, grid calculations and design, as well as economic aspects where you monitor project budgets and outcomes. You are involved throughout the entire project lifecycle – from start to finish – making the role important from both a technical and service-oriented perspective. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and other internal functions where you together coordinate, document, and drive the work forward with quality and customer focus at the center.
Your Experience
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in electric power and electricity distribution and who thrive in a role where technology, service, and customer contact go hand in hand. You work in a structured manner, have good teamwork skills, and feel confident in driving cases forward and making decisions in daily work.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have basic knowledge of electricity distribution, either through education or practical experience. You communicate clearly and have an easy time building good relationships, both internally and externally. We see that you have experience working in electricity distribution, for example as an installer or distribution electrician, and are accustomed to collaborating with installers, contractors, and customers.
You preferably have experience from a role where technical and administrative tasks are combined and feel comfortable handling multiple contact points simultaneously. If you have also worked in documentation platforms like dpPower, in project management, or in case management systems like SAP, this is a plus.
