Do you want to work at the intersection of automation, IT/OT, and production in one of Northern Europe's leading food companies? Atria is growing and is now looking for an Automation Specialist IT/OT – a new and expanded role in the Swedish operations – to strengthen and further develop our production environments through advanced automation, smart system solutions, and continuous improvements. The position is located in Sölvesborg, where you will play a key role in future-proofing Atria through modern, efficient, and sustainable automation solutions.

As an IT Automation Specialist, you will become part of our IT/OT team, responsible for our production facilities and offices in Sweden and Denmark. The team is responsible for automation, production systems, infrastructure, business systems, service desk, and other business-critical systems. In this role, you will work with the management, development, and improvement of our automation solutions, participating in both daily operations and investment and change projects related to automation, control systems, and production. You will collaborate closely with operations, the group's IT organization in Finland/Sweden, automation specialists, Operations Development, and external partners to ensure stable, secure, and efficient solutions in our facilities.

Examples of tasks:

• Ensure stable operation of automation solutions to maintain high availability and continuity in production – in collaboration with maintenance and technical departments
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and analyses
• Monitor and manage lifecycle planning and availability of automation components, including planning for upgrades, phase-outs, and risk management related to obsolete equipment
• Work with troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and improvement work
• Ensure correct and reliable traceability and collection of production data
• Contribute to continuous improvements in the efficiency, capacity, and performance of production lines
• Support production and product development during changes in products and production methods, focusing on efficiency, quality, and feasibility

The position is a permanent employment located in Sölvesborg, where we have our chicken production facility.

We are looking for you who have at least a few years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, and OT. You have worked in manufacturing industry, process industry, or similar operations and thrive in a role where you can combine technology, problem-solving, and improvement work. You also have experience in system-oriented maintenance work, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA), as well as practical experience in system configuration and commissioning. You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English. Additionally, you have competence in some of the following areas:

• PLC programming, such as Siemens S7/TIA Portal or Allen-Bradley
• HMI/SCADA systems such as WinCC or iFix
• Fieldbuses, frequency converters, and bus-connected instruments/sensors
• Industrial networks and communication solutions, such as TCP/IP and OPC
• Robotics
• Databases and integration solutions
• Machine Vision
• Machine Safety
• Project Management
