On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Automation Technician

As an Automation Technician, you will have a central and developmental role where you contribute to stable operations and future smart production solutions. You work proactively with control systems and ensure they are both efficient and reliable. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine technical expertise with high-level problem-solving.

As a person, you are eager to seek new perspectives and raise ideas on how things can be developed. You are relationship-building, trustworthy, and open in social situations. You ask questions to gather information and listen actively to build upon what others say. You value solving problems through collaboration and exchanging experiences, information, and ideas with others.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Drive development and changes in control systems in close collaboration with production.
• Handle operational disruptions and quickly implement measures in urgent situations.
• Support technicians and operators in troubleshooting and optimization.
• Ensure quality and traceability through clear and structured documentation.
• Build and develop collaborations with both internal and external parties.
• Initiate and drive improvement work that increases availability, safety, and efficiency.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in automation and PLC programming (ABB).
• Knowledge of software such as Siemens, Melsec, ABB, or Bosch Rexroth.
• Education equivalent to a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in automation, electrical engineering, or similar.
• Good knowledge and understanding of machines driven by robotics technology.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
