Responsibilities

At Kulladalsskolan, you will have the opportunity to work in an organization with a clear team-based approach, featuring a high proportion of qualified teachers and leisure-time center staff. We are currently looking for a teacher for a temporary position in Year 1 while our colleague is on parental leave. As a teacher here, you will plan lessons together with your colleagues based on the national curriculum. The school has a strong focus on language and knowledge development, and mathematics instruction is based on the research-based method "Think, Reason, and Calculate" (TRR). Kulladalsskolan has an organization focused on joint planning, evaluation, and analysis in result dialogues.

We strive to build strong work and subject teams where we value each other's differences and competencies, while maintaining a constant desire to learn and develop. Collaboration during school hours varies and may include peer observations, reading groups, etc. To support our systematic quality work, we have process facilitators, our lead teachers, special education needs coordinators, and special teachers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for Years F-3 in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, Natural Sciences, Technology, and English, and have experience working as a teacher in Years 1-3.

You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment and good study atmosphere for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good familiarity and practice, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work to build good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

You are well-versed in the school's mission and can drive instruction based on the curriculum and our governing documents. You feel confident in your leadership, have the ability to adapt teaching and activities so that students succeed based on their unique prerequisites. You have experience using cooperative structures and providing students with varied instruction. You are accustomed to planning together in work teams and see collegial learning as a natural part of the operation. You see opportunities in collaboration and believe that all students are everyone's responsibility. Naturally, you are a person who works to ensure students leave school with hope for the future, and you build community through positive reinforcement. You contribute by giving students the opportunity to develop knowledge, values, skills, and abilities for an active and independent life. Experience with TRR is meritorious.

At Kulladalsskolan, you work in close collaboration with your colleagues to create a holistic experience for the students.
